The conditions necessary for use of utility at failure of Windows loading because of system registry damage are listed below:

• Loading of alternative operating system: DOS from a diskette, ERD Commander, modified system CD-ROM or other variant, allowing to start the utility with use of command line or in a batch mode.

• Access to Windows system partition for reading and/or writing.
